December Bullet Journal Update

WOO 24 DAYS TO GOOOO

Today I thought I'd give you all a lil bullet journal update because hell have I gone ALL OUT for December - it's snowy and Christmassy as heck. I took a lot of inspiration for this month from AmandaRachLee who is one of my all time favourite bullet journal YouTubers. So let's dive on in...

 For December's cover page I went for some cute calligraphy and lil snowflake line drawings. I used the Tombow Fudenosuke brush pen for the calligraphy (hard tip) (oo-er) and the Tombow dual brush pen in 452 for the blue! I'm hoping to get some snow in Manchester but a lot of people have told me it's not really snow, more grey/brown sludgy sleety stuff, so I guess this is just wishful thinking...

I LOVE MY CALENDAR SPREAD. I started doing this monthly calendar instead of the list which you saw in September's just because it gives much more room and I like being able to spread out a little bit more I guess? I added some cute quotes from favourite songs and of course my YouTube growth tracker. I gained 15 subscribers throughout November and while it was nowhere near my target it's the most I've ever grown in one month so maybe things are starting to take off!! I used the same Tombow brush pen for the black calligraphy and then for the red and green lettering I used Crayola super tips. For the icicles I used the dual brush pen in 553 which is my favourite one I've got, it's such a pretty icy blue colour. I also used the Faber Castell Ecco Pigment fineliner with the 0.3mm tip and the Pilot G2 0.5mm gel pen.

This little quote page was massively inspired by AmandaRachLee, she did this in her December journal and I loved it so much I wanted to try it too!! This calligraphy was actually done with the black Crayola super tip, I find the Tombow Fudenosuke brush pens don't do well with large calligraphy so I did it with a bigger pen. Again all the outlines done with my Pilot gel pen and then the same blue Tombow pen as on the cover page. The opposite page to this was going to be a Christmas gift list page but at the moment I haven't quite completed it and didn't want to include a picture as it's got all my family's Christmas presents on there!! I also did do my standard habit tracker but this month ditched the mood tracker, I wasn't really doing it and it didn't really add anything. I did a Blogmas post plan page instead but again, can't include a picture because then nothing would be a surprise!!

And then we've got my first weekly spread!! I really love this, I went for the snowy theme again with blues and purples and snowflakes and silver and it's so pretty. I liked having the column for weekly events but also I found I was running out of room for the everyday tasks in the daily sections so I've gone for bigger boxes this time. 

And that's about it for this month's bullet journal!! I really love it this month, it's so very festive and cosy!
